There is a secret door in the House of Healing’s Morgue in Baldur’s Gate 3, but how do you unlock it?

BG3 includes multiple exceptionally well-hidden elements and passageways that you can use to obtain additional goodies. This article will go over the Baldur’s Gate 3 House of Healing Morgue Secret Door to show you another secret entrance.

Let us understand how to unlock the House of Healing Morgue Secret Door in Baldur’s Gate 3 and find out what loot awaits us on the other side.

Where to Find the House of Healing in Baldur’s Gate 3?

The House of Healing may be found quite early in the second Act of Baldur’s Gate 3, and you can access it at any time after visiting Moonrise Towers for the first time. To find the House of Healing, first go to the Moonrise Towers fast travel point and then head north-west. The location is also highlighted on the map in the image below.

When you arrive at the House of Healing in Baldur’s Gate 3, you must pass a dialogue check to enter, but once inside, you can stroll around freely. What you can do here is, as previously said, obtain the Lute required to awaken Art Cullagh in the Last Light Inn. To do so, you must proceed to the operating room and meet Malus Thorm, the head honcho of the House of Healing.

Baldur’s Gate 3: House of Healing: Morgue Secret Door

First and foremost, get to the House of Healing, then, to find the Morgue, go to the House of Healing’s west side and follow the way outside. The road will eventually drop into a dark cavern. You will then be at the Morgue in Baldur’s Gate 3, where we may begin looting.

The locked metal door at the Morgue is located on the northern side of the space. There are a couple of ways to open this door now. Unfortunately, it cannot be destroyed, therefore brute force will not suffice. It can be lockpicked, but with a DC of 30, you can end up squandering a lot of Thieves Tools if you attempt to do so. The lever on the right-hand side appears to do nothing, thus there is no obvious solution here.

What you really need to do is enter the sealed door on the Morgue’s far western side. This lock is a DC 18, making it much easier to open than the metal door. Inside, you will find a horrifying area filled with alchemical vials and human corpses.

Keep your eyes on the lever to the left of the middle table. Pull this before returning to the closed door. This lever unlocks the next lever near the metal door, which I understand is perplexing, but trust the procedure. Baldur’s Gate 3 contains several puzzles, such as this one in the Morgue, that can be a little weird at times.

When you pull the lever, the door swings open to expose a cave. There’s not much to see right away, but descend the steps and look to the west for a chest on a little platform. A standard leap will not bring you to this position, so utilize Misty Step or Fly to go across. Inside this chest lies the Fleshmelter Cloak, which gives 1-4 Acid damage to any melee opponents who hit you. It’s a pleasant bonus, and it makes investigating the Morgue in Baldur’s Gate 3 worthwhile.
