How To Add Research Lab To The Ship in Starfield

1. Travel to Alpha Centauri and Jemison Planet
To begin, travel to Alpha Centauri, a star system located within the vast Starfield universe. When you arrive, head to Jemison Planet, which is part of the United Colonies Faction. This is where you’ll go to find the Ship Services Technician.
2. Track down the Ship Services Technician
As you get closer to the Jemison Planet, you will notice a checkpoint labeled “Talk to Sarah Morgan.” The friendly Ship Services Technician will be waiting to assist you at this checkpoint. You have exclusive access to interact with him as a United Colonies Citizen.
3. Navigate to the Ship Modification Environment
Engage with the Ship Services Technician and select “I would like to view and modify my ships.” This will grant you access to the Ship Modification Environment, a hub where you can access all ship customization options.
