How to Get a Broom in Hogwarts Legacy

The main adventure will begin with a quest called “Flying Class” once you have gotten to level 6. Madam Kogawa will teach you the fundamentals of flying in this location.
After clearing Kogawa’s quest and jumping through hoops (figuratively), you can visit Mr. Weeke’s store, Spintwitches Sports Goods, to get your own broom to fly throughout Hogwarts Legacy. Mr. Weekes will explain that most brooms have limitations once you purchase one, and following the optional “Flight Test” objective, he will offer to assist you overcome those with upgrades.
How to Fly with a Broom in Hogwarts Legacy
Using the broom to fly is rather simple. You must first be in a fly zone. Although not always permitted, you can always board a broom when and where it is. To achieve this, press Circle or B to get on your broom and hold LB/L1 to access the Tool Wheel. The following are the controls:
- Fly in any direction by using the left stick.
- Elevation is controlled by the right stick.
- To accelerate, hold R2/RT.
- To gain a burst of speed, press L2/LT.
- Hold B to dismount.
Madam Kogawa’s session at Hogwarts gives you the opportunity to familiarise yourself with the controls and already teaches you the fundamentals. The “Flight Test” assignment requires you to complete a time trial created by Imelda Reyes after you unlock it. You are forced to compete with the time, so this is a wonderful chance to practise using the controls and handling speed.
The current-generation consoles, including the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC, now support Hogwarts Legacy (via Steam and Epic Games Store). The game’s release date for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One is set for April 4, 2023, and its release date for the Nintendo Switch is set for July 25, 2023.
