The AC Mirage Abandoned Caravanserai is a landmark in the Wilderness region, and it is a hostile territory you must clear if you want to obtain the Gear Chest collectible.
Because the chest at this location is one of AC Mirage’s nine Wilderness Gear Chests, we will guide you through the entire quest and tell you all about How to Get the Abandoned Caravanserai Gear Chest in AC Mirage.
How to Get Abandoned Caravanserai Gear Chest in AC Mirage
The landmark known as Abandoned Caravanserai can be found on the western side of the Wilderness region, west of Baghdad, as shown on the map below.
The first thing you should do is go to the landmark’s location. As you approach, you’ll notice three enemies in the large courtyard.
At this point, I recommend dealing with them all so you can focus on solving the Abandoned Caravanserai puzzle without being distracted.
After you have cleared the area, please proceed to the western backyard, where you’ll find a breakable wall, similar to the one in my screenshot.
As you might expect, the Gear Chest in the Abandoned Caravanserai is behind the breakable wall, and in order to get it, you must first deal with the pile of rocks.
How To Get the Gear Chest in the Abandoned Caravanserai
The Abandoned Caravanserai puzzle requires you to use an explosive red jar on the breakable wall; however, the pots are located in the front courtyard where you defeated the three guards.
Because walls surround the backyard, you must also figure out how to transport the jar over the wall that separates the backyard from the front courtyard. So, return to the front courtyard and, while facing north on your in-game map, look for a movable shelf.
Approach the shelf I’ve marked for you and pull it away from the wall and towards the center of the courtyard. Look around for an explosive jar (red) and take it.
Hop on the barrels near the shelf you just moved while carrying the jar, then climb the ledge.
Now, on your PlayStation/Xbox controller, press and hold X/A, move towards the rope in front of you, and use it to reach the upper wall.
You should be able to see the backyard from here, but you will have to descend.
