Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty – How to Hack Enemies With a Monowire: Phantom Liberty is the latest and greatest addition to the already amazing Cyberpunk 2077. The Monowire is a cyberwar arm weapon that felt underutilized in the base game. Phantom Liberty changes this by adding new capabilities that make it ideal for players who want to be powerful Netrunners or create a build similar to Lucy from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.
V can now perform quick hacks on the Monowire. This guide will explain which Quickhacks are compatible with the Monowire and how to Hack Enemies With a Monowire.

Let us now understand the steps involved to unlocking Quickhacks and equipping them in your Monowire weapon.
Unlock Jailbreak Perk
To equip quickhacks to the Monowire, players must first unlock the Jailbreak perk. This perk is part of Phantom Liberty’s brand-new Relic skill tree. Begin the expansion by meeting Songbird, who will provide V with three Relic points to spend.
More Relic points can be found throughout the expansion, particularly in the Dogtown district. The Jailbreak perk also gives each Cyberware arm new abilities.
Install Monowire Quickhacks.
Open the menu to the Cyberware screen once the Jailbreak perk has been unlocked. Bring the cursor over the Monowire Cyberware arm slot, and the Quickhack menu will appear, just like in Cyberdecks. To access this quickhack menu, press the Right Stick.
This will bring the player to a screen where he or she can equip available Quickhacks. Higher-tier hacks cannot be placed on lower-tier Monowires, so upgrade your gear as V’s street cred grows. Control Quickhacks, which take control of enemy Cyberware and weaponry, are the Monowire’s only option. Here is a list of Quickhacks that can be equipped:
- Cripple Movement: Stops enemies in their tracks.
- Malfunctioning Cyberware: Enemies take more damage for a short period of time.
- Reboot Optics: Temporarily blinds enemies.
- Weapon Glitch: Temporarily disables enemy weaponry.
