Picking up Skill Books when you see them in Starfield is a good idea because they have a variety of benefits, such as increasing carry capacity, reducing fall damage, and improving weapons – to name a few!
Skill books are somewhat like Comics from Bethesda’s Fallout 4. These can be found scattered all around the different parts of the world and once picked up, offer amazing power buffs which are permanent. Let us find out more about them in this How to use Skill Magazine in Starfield guide.
How To Use Skill Magazines in Starfield
As soon as you pick these skill books up, your player will be rewarded with the skill buff that is associated with that book. Even if you drop or sell the book later, these buffs are tied with your character and will stay with you forever.
Keep in mind that some Skill Magazine buffs have an effect on your companions while others do not. There is, at the very least, no official confirmation of how this mechanic works. We’ll keep you updated if Bethesda provides more information on this.
These Skill Magazines, when sold to any vendor reward us with 100 credits in return. It is not enough by any means but Skill Buff and 100 bucks just for a magazine? Now that is a deal worth taking!
