You traverse a top-down overworld as the eponymous Cuphead and Mugman, defeating levels that often comprise of boss battles with numerous developing stages, to open new sections. The key to winning is understanding the enemy’s different attack patterns and coordinating parries and attacks. However, if one of you makes a mistake and takes too many projectiles, you may be able to parry their immortal soul back to the living world if you can get to them in time before they disappear off screen into the afterlife.
Don’t let Cuphead’s reputation for difficulty deter you; failing repeatedly is part of the charm and makes you develop genuine resentment for the smirking cartoon foes you face. Additionally, there will be some Cuphead DLC available in July 2022.
LEGO Star Wars – The Complete Saga
Any LEGO game is a fantastic candidate for Steam Remote Play Together, but because the pairing of studs with (light) sabres in the LEGO Star Wars games is so seamless, we chose those titles. The endearingly farcical but respectful approach of the LEGO games adds an extra helping of humour and charm as we go through the storylines of the first six Star Wars movies in The Complete Saga.
It’s more of a fun-filled adventure through the Star Wars set as you blast away and swing your glow sticks at opponents who fall to pieces satisfyingly. The gameplay and riddles are rather simple, so you and your padawan won’t face substantial difficulty.
It’s a great game to play with your family or friends, but beware: friendly fire is enabled, so be prepared for them to grin maniacally as they repeatedly thwack you to death.
It Takes Two: co-op games
In this magnificent co-op platformer, two quarrelling parents are shrunk to the size of little dolls instead of the kids in Honey I Shrunk the Kids. Cody and May are on the verge of a divorce and fighting in front of their kid when they are suddenly transformed into small, walking toys. They must work together to return to their normal selves.
Every place has something unique to offer, from the tool shed’s tiniest crevices to the garden trees’ boughs and alcoves. Along the journey, you’ll run into oddball characters like a troop of talking squirrels, ominous bosses who represent the couple’s past disagreements and talking equipment.
In this endearing and twee story of love and hope, The Book of Love serves as the annoying guide who interrupts your journey. It gives tools for each player, such as a hammer and nails or a grapple, forcing you to cooperate in order to reach new locations as you swoop, swing, and climb to solve puzzles.
Borderlands 3: co-op games
You might have anticipated greater change in Gearbox Software’s looter shooter FPS after a significant gap. Although Borderlands 3 has a ton of new material, the basic gameplay cycle of killing, finding new weapons, and then killing again is still present, which is nice. Of course, there are absurdly more firearms this time around to acquire, as well as more glittering gold Borderlands 3 legendary weaponry to harvest.
