You’ll come across various enticing safes on Joel and Ellie’s perilous adventure throughout the United States. These treasure chests contain useful goods such as crafting supplies, supplements, ammo, and weapon parts. There’s only one problem: in order to access those delectable treats, you’ll need to know the code.
While the codes are normally discovered near the safes, sometimes you just don’t want to scavenge through a three-bedroom house for a second time. With that said, let us find the answer to where is the Safe Combination in the Last of Us. There are only four safes in the entire game, and they are all discovered in the first half.
Where is the Safe Combination in the Last of Us
The safe code combinations for The Last of Us Part 1 can be discovered in The Outskirts, Bill’s Town, Pittsburgh, and the Suburbs. Each one includes near-essential prizes such as several parts, supplements, and even a training handbook. Making them less need to crack open.
THE OUTSKIRTS SAFE COMBINATION
The first safe may be found directly at the start of the Downtown area of the game’s third chapter, as Joel and Ellie leave Boston. You will be surrounded by abandoned stores.
The Note to David will be in a drawer under the counter in the store to your left, along with the safe combination. A safe will be located next to the counter in the business to the right of your starting place. (Beware of the Runner who is lurking nearby!)
The combination for the Outskirts safe is 03-43-78.
BILL’S TOWN SAFE COMBINATION
The second safe may be found early in the game’s fourth chapter, during the chapter’s first subchapter, The Woods. You’ll be on the main street of a small town shortly after Ellie assists you in opening a chain-link gate. Walk downhill to a roadblock at the opposite end of the street, passing a long RV on the right. The combination is written on a Note to Bob in the barbed-wire fence.
Return in the direction you came until you come across a red and white evacuation notice sign. Turn left to find a pickup truck with the safe beside it.
The Bill’s Town safe combination is 05-17-21. You’ll receive 50 parts, 10 supplements, and rifle ammunition.
PITTSBURGH SAFE COMBINATION
The third safe in The Last of Us Part I may be found during the fifth chapter of the game, Pittsburgh. It appears in the second of four subsections in the chapter, Hotel Lobby. Take a left out of the door and grab the nearby ladder, which you should place in the open spot right in front of you with a yellow hard-hat sign. Go right, hugging the wall as you pass through the big hole. A suitcase with a Note to Staff and the combination can be found in the back corner of the landing, near the elevators.
Return to the first level and search for the reception desk to the right of the entrance. You’ll notice a desk and a couple of overturned baggage trolleys. To find the safe, go behind the counter and into the back room.
The combination for the hotel safe in Pittsburgh is 22-10-56. To improve the longevity of your shivs, you’ll receive magnum rounds, explosives, 50 pieces, and a training manual. Huzzah!
SUBURBS SAFE COMBINATION
It’s the end of the line! The fourth and final safe in The Last of Us is found in the sixth chapter of the game, The Suburbs. It’s in the second portion of this chapter, commonly known as Suburbs. Continue past the workbench on your left and the ice cream truck on your right. Enter the white home on your left with a green X painted on the front and a dartboard visible through the window.
The safe is located on the second level in a bedroom closet. Head up to the third-floor attic and look for the matchbook on the computer desk at the top of the stairs to find the combination.
The Suburbs safe combination is 08-21-36. You will receive ten supplements, ammo, and fifty parts.
