How to Get Venti in Genshin Impact? Genshin Impact is a wildly popular game with thrilling moments and interesting characters. Venti, a bard with a penchant for drinking his weight in wine, has dominated most of Genshin Impact’s presence. Venti is one of the game’s most popular characters, and he appears rather early on. You might be wondering how to grab Venti and add him to your squad if you are new to Genshin Impact.
Venti is a 5-star character who, like the majority of the game’s 5-star characters, is a featured character. Venti, in this case, may only be summoned using the game’s “Wish” system when they are expressly highlighted through the game’s Character Event Wish banner. There are regular 5-star characters who may be summoned at any moment, such as Diluc, Mona, and Keqing. If you’re looking for Venti or another 5-star character, you’ll have to wait till they’re featured.
If you have already progressed enough in the game then you probably have an idea of who the character is and what is he capable of. But the bigger question here is if you can add Venti to your party and win your games with it? In this article, we will tell you all about how to get Venti in Genshin Impact. How to Get Venti in Genshin Impact?
If you’re looking to add Venti to your roster, there’s good news and bad news. The good news is that Venti has been made playable for two events:
Ballad in Goblets, update 1.0, 9/28/2020
Ballad in Goblets, update 1.4, March 17, 2021
You will need Wishes, especially Intertwined Fates if miHoYo re-runs Venti’s character banner. Intertwined Fates can be obtained in a variety of ways:
Winning as quest rewards
Making Crimson Agate gifts to the Frostbearing Tree as a reward for scaling up your Adventure Rank Purchasing Fates via Primogems, Masterless Stardust, and Masterless Starglitter as an Event reward
Fates may be obtained by transforming Genesis Crystals into Primogems.
If miHoYo releases Venti’s character banner again, you’ll need Wishes, and not just any kind of wishes but specifically Intertwined Fates. There are a lot of ways in which you can obtain Intertwined fates some of them are listed below:
- You can win intertwined fates as rewards after completing quests
- They can also be earned as rewards for leveling up the adventure rank.
- You can earn them by making Crimson Agate offerings to the Frostbearing Tree
- You can buy them as Fates via Primogems, Masterless Stardust, and Masterless Starglitter
- Intertwined fates can also be earned as some special events rewards.
- One more way of getting Intertwined Fates is by converting Genesis Crystals into Primogems to buy Fates
How to Make The Wish
Once you have enough Interwined Fates for the character event banner follow the given steps to enter the event:
- Launch Genshin Impact on your device or PC.
- Tap/click on the Paimon’s head/the main menu and select the wish icon.
- Tap/click on the tab at the top of the screen for the required banner.
- Tap/click the wish button for “1 x Wish” or “10 x Wish” (for multiple chances at once).
- Confirm your selected action.
- Now depending on your luck you may get your required character or better luck next time so keep your fingers crossed when you make a wish.
You may have heard or read comments on whether or not someone should “pull for [insert character here].” To clarify, the Genshin Impact Wish system does not allow you to specify whom you want to make a Wish or “pull” for.
Chances of Pulling Venti in Genshin Impact
If miHoYo runs Venti’s Character Event banner again, for example, you’ll pick the “Ballad in Goblets” menu to participate in the Wish event. These limited-time events typically include one five-star and three four-star characters. When you “pull” from this banner during the event, you have a better chance of winning one of the highlighted characters, but you are not guaranteed to win a specific one.
The five-star character shown on the Character Event banner has a 50% chance of being won. However, there is an equal possibility that you will be assigned a four-star character instead. Many players choose to use the “10 x Wish” pull because they feel it increases their odds of obtaining the character of their choice, although it is still not guaranteed.
Fortunately, the game contains a “Mercy Mechanism” that ensures players acquire the Character Event banner five-star character after 89 failed pulls. It may be upsetting to learn that you can attempt 89 times and still not acquire the named banner character, but miHoYo rewards your effort by granting you the character on the 90th pull.
If you try to win the featured five-star character during a Character event and are unsuccessful, your attempts roll over to the following event. Let’s imagine you attempted to win Klee during the 1.6 update event. “Sparkling Steps,” and you “wished” or “pulled” 50 times but didn’t get her. Those 50 tries would go towards the “mercy system” for the following event.
Venti is one of the first characters that appear in the game and is also one of the strongest but it isn’t easy to add him to the party as it only appeared twice in special events. So a player has to wait before the developers launch another event.
Venti’s Wish may have ended, but keep your fingers crossed. He’s a beloved figure, and fans have been screaming for his return. Keep an eye out for miHoYo’s update alerts and keep playing the game till then. You never know when his flag will come again, so make sure you have enough Wishes to win him when he does.
