The Last of Us Part 1 Vs Remastered: Graphical Changes

Part 1 is an outright remake of The Last of Us. This is most noticeable in the graphics, which have been fully redesigned to match The Last of Us Part 2’s visual quality and personality. Much Stronger Lighting

This is one of the remake’s other big graphical alterations. The lighting is far superior. There is no disrespect to the original TLOU, but the game came out on the PS3. The strong PS5 is a considerably more powerful console, as evidenced by the new illumination.

The PS5 is capable of dynamic lighting and shadows, which looks fantastic. In retrospect, the lighting in The Last of Us appears flat and harsh. Everything appears richer, more realistic, and more spectacular with the remake.

This shift is most noticeable in the scene depicted above. In the original, the light shines through the door unflattering and unnaturally. This scene seems much more realistic and atmospheric in the remake, thanks to enhanced lighting.

The differences in gameplay are less noticeable and eye-catching than the spectacular new aesthetics. However, there are some apparent tweaks that promises an “enhanced gameplay experience”.

Here is a quick rundown of the gameplay changes:

Moving and shooting have been entirely revamped in order to produce a combination between the original and Part 2.
Tons of animations have been updated, for example, to increase impact, make stealth smoother, and so on.
At several times, the level design has been altered.
