The Last of Us Remastered Trophy Guide: The Last of Us Remastered is the next game from Naughty Dog, the makers of Uncharted. The game is a survival horror action-adventure set in a post-apocalyptic world in the year 2033.
Naughty Dogs abandons the habit of having a list of weapon kills-related trophies like they did with their Uncharted games. Instead, not only are there fewer trophies in this game than in a typical game, but the majority of the trophies in The Last of Us Remastered are collectibles-related.
Multiplayer trophies are also included on this list, and obtaining the Platinum will require a significant amount of time. The Platinum Trophy is the Highest Ranked Trophy in the game.
Let us take you through the Roadmap of the Last of Us Remastered Trophy Guide. Keep in Mind that this Remastered Trophy Guide is still based on the original game to keep things simple for you.
The Last of Us Remastered Trophy Guide – Explained
All of The Last of Us Remastered Trophies can easily be unlocked in a single playthrough, though chapter choice is accessible if you manage to miss anything. Remember that reloading a chapter will prevent you from accessing any following ones; however, you can avoid this by loading your completed autosave after finishing the game.
Simply follow our The Last of Us 1 walkthrough to ensure you see and do everything in the main campaign as well as the Left Behind expansion. You can play on any difficulty level, including Very Light, and still, obtain all Trophies. Furthermore, if you want to win this Platinum with as little difficulty as possible, several of the game’s accessibility options might make the gameplay even easier.
Be warned that some situational Trophies need you to perform specific activities, which can be overlooked. They are as follows:
- High School Escape: In Memorium
- Escape the City: Lights Out
- Sewers: Waterlogged
- Hydroelectric Dam: Left Hanging
- Hydroelectric Dam: Who’s a Good Boy?
- Mallrats: Brick Master
- Fun and Games: Nobody’s Perfect
- Fun and Games: Angel Knives
- Fun and Games: Skillz
- The Enemy of My Enemy: Live Bait
Any of these Trophies can be unlocked using chapter choice. However, it’s a good idea to keep them in mind during your first playthrough to save time.
Last of Us Remastered Trophy Guide – Missable Trophies
There are no missed Trophies in The Last of Us: Part I because everything is replayable via chapter choose. We recommend that you save manually during Epilogue because restarting an early chapter would lock you out of past ones. However, you can get around this by reloading your Epilogue save and then going back to the main menu. You can also use your completed autosave. However, as long as you keep this in mind, there are no missable Trophies throughout the game.
Last of Us Remastered Trophy Guide – Difficulty Trophies
Because there are no difficulty Trophies in The Last of Us: Part I, you can play on any difficulty you want to unlock the Platinum, including Very Light. You’ll also find a number of accessibility choices in the main menu that can make the game even easier to play, and none of these have any effect on the Trophies.

You’ll be able to enhance melee weapons with Blades and Binding as you travel through The Last of Us: Part I. Depending on how many Training Manuals you have, upgrading a melee weapon adds one to three additional attacks to its durability. To obtain this Trophy, equip the upgrade from the crafting menu and then attack foes until the melee weapon breaks. There are a total of 5 melee weapons to upgrade and shatter. They are as follows:
- 2×4
- Baseball Bat
- Lead Pipe
- Machete
- Hatchet
While all of these combat weapons are very common, the sharper melee weapons will not be found until the Suburbs. Don’t worry if you miss this Trophy before completing the game; you can always try again using Level Chooser.
If you missed out on the Machete, for example, you can try restarting the Encounter in Ranch House, as one of the enemies upstairs possesses it. We recommend that you save your Blades and Binding for later in the adventure, since you’ll need them to enhance your melee weapons and create Shivs for Shiv Doors.
Fallen Firefly – Bronze
Unlock this Trophy by finding a single Firefly Pendant.
Self Help – Bronze
Unlock this Trophy by finding a single Training Manual.
Savage Starlight Fan – Bronze
Unlock this Trophy by finding a single Comic.
Geared Up – Bronze
To obtain this Trophy, you must construct the six items in The Last of Us: Part I. Before you can construct an Item, you must first find its formula, which will occur organically as you go through the game. The whole list of items required for crafting is as follows:
- Health Kit
- Molotov Cocktail
- Shiv
- Melee Upgrade
- Nail Bomb
- Smoke Bomb
To make Items, you’ll need resources, often known as ingredients. These can be found in drawers and on tables throughout the game. To make this Trophy much easier to complete, make sure you’re looking everywhere in the environment and scavenging as many supplies as possible.
In Memorium – Bronze
After the great Bloater battle in the gym, you’ll wind up in a house with Bill and Ellie in High School Escape. You’ll have some time to explore around while Bill gets the automobile ready, so collect the Note from Frank from the front room.
Once in your inventory, this will initiate an Optional Conversation with Bill in which you will give him the letter. Frank will crumple the message and throw it away after reading it. Walk around the automobile to the other side of Bill and retrieve it in order to obtain a note from Frank (Crumpled).
Both of these contribute to all Artifacts locations; therefore you’ll need to obtain them if you want to complete the game completely.
Lights Out- Bronze
When it’s nighttime at the end of the chapter in Escape the City, you’ll need to collaborate with Henry to turn off a search light. When you gain control, you’ll come across two guards standing around a fire. Get a sneak kill on one of these, and Henry will take care of the other. Then go outdoors and look for the spotlight on the left. Stay hunched below the boundaries and carefully travel around the perimeter of the area, keeping out of the spotlight’s light. Once you’re out of the spotlight, keep an eye on the guard roaming around here and wait for him to turn around and go away. Then, without drawing attention to yourself, rapidly turn off the flashlight to unlock this Trophy.
Waterlogged – Bronze
There is a point in the Sewers when you must rescue a wooden panel from a compartment behind a closed metal fence. Then you use this panel to transport Ellie across the water so she may power up a generator. Swim back to where Sam and Henry are standing and hop aboard the metal contraption with them after Ellie has reached the generator. Ellie will then activate the generator, and you will be dragged across to the other side, unlocking this Trophy.
Left Hanging – Bronze
Before you reach Tommy in Hydroelectric Dam, you must carry Ellie from one side of the dam to the other so she may turn a wheel that builds a makeshift bridge for you to cross. As you reach the bridge, you’ll be prompted to use the triangle button to high-five Ellie. To unlock this Trophy, resist the urge and leave her hanging.
Who’s a Good Boy? – Bronze
Later at Hydroelectric Dam, as Tommy is giving you a tour, you’ll come across Buckley the dog, and a prompt will appear to pet him. You’ll need to shower him with affection in order to obtain this Trophy. After all, he is a good boy!
Nobody’s Perfect – Bronze
Look in the back-left corner of Raja’s in Fun and Games in Left Behind for a cabinet inspired by Naughty Dog’s PS2 arcade racer Jak X: Combat Racing. Interacting with it will cause a cutscene in which Ellie pretends to play, so unlocking this Trophy.
Brick Master – Bronze
After exiting the Halloween shop in the Mallrats chapter of Left Behind, you’ll engage in a brick-throwing competition with Riley. Because there are so many bricks on the floor, this is relatively simple. Grab one as soon as possible to prepare and equip it, then glance down at the car below and prepare to throw your brick at one of the windows as the competition begins.
It’s better to take your time and be precise here than to rush and make mistakes. You’ll need to smash six windows in all, and you’ll need to travel to the right to get the angle on some of them. If Riley appears to be about to win, reload your checkpoint and try again. Alternatively, you can perform a manual save shortly before the competition begins to avoid missing out on this Trophy if you make a mistake.
Angel Knives – Bronze
Interact with The Turning arcade cabinet on the right in Raja’s in Fun and Games in Left Behind. Make sure you already have Nobody’s Perfect before starting this sequence, or you’ll have to reload the chapter. This will effectively launch a minigame in which you must match the button inputs in the bottom-left corner of the screen.
The game is rather forgiving, and you have plenty of time to press the buttons, so take your time and try not to make any mistakes. You will receive damage if you skip a prompt or do not input the actions in time, and you must be perfect to obtain this Trophy. To be safe, you can always reload a recent checkpoint to try again, or even make a manual save immediately before interacting with the arcade cabinet.
Skillz – Bronze
You’ll get into a water cannon duel with Riley near the conclusion of Fun and Games in Left Behind, shortly after Raja’s. You’ll simply soak each other in the first skirmish here, but then you’ll enter a best-of-three game of hide-and-seek. All you have to do is hide someplace on the level and wait for Riley to find you. She’s extremely noisy and impatient, so you shouldn’t have any trouble spotting her.
You can, of course, employ Listen mode if necessary. Make sure your water gun is pumped and primed, then squirt her with water when she gets too close. To unlock the Trophy, you must win two games. If Riley takes the lead right immediately, you may always retry the checkpoint, or make a manual save to relieve pressure if you make a mistake.
Live Bait – Bronze
In Left Behind’s The Enemy of My Enemy, immediately after discovering the Artefact dubbed Duct Recorder, you’ll enter a sports shop filled with infected and bandits. There are bottles and bricks on the ground, so pick one up and aim it at the robbers. The commotion will draw the infected’s attention, inciting them to attack each other. This will get you access to the Trophy. Don’t worry if you miss it the first time; there will be other chances later on.
